For those who were unable to attend opening day here is some updated information:

Entry forms are on the notice board for our upcoming men’s and mixed tournaments on the 7 and 8 October. Most of our club championships close on 25 October.

Just a reminder that Junior Singles are for those who have been playing 5 years or less. Veteran singles are for those who are 65 years of age and over as at the 1 October.

 A couple of coaching nights will be held in October. Dates will be advised via newsletter nearer the time. 

Tony Marshall is this season’s social convener – he welcomes any suggestions. 

With the National Bowls Championships due to be held in Dunedin over the New Year, Pete Thomson will be convening an organizing sub-committee so please assist him in any way possible. 

When enjoying the hospitality of the club please ensure your table is clean, chairs tidy and glassware returned to the bar on leaving

Not long now until bowls is underway with our upcoming tournaments. Saturday 7 October is our Men’s Fours and Sunday 8 October the very popular Wine and Cheese Mixed Triples. 

Get your entries in now and spread the word to ensure that once again we have a couple of great days.
